RECROSS is a project designed to improve home care services for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) patients and to enhance the knowledge and skills of professionals working in this field. By integrating different care approaches from Turkey and Italy, the project aims to improve the quality of life of ALS patients. It seeks to promote knowledge exchange among care professionals while strengthening the role of patient organizations in ALS treatment processes.
This project targets healthcare professionals, social service experts, and caregivers who provide care for ALS patients. Additionally, it offers a significant training opportunity for young healthcare professionals who wish to specialize in this field. Through this initiative, a well-trained workforce will be developed to provide improved care services for ALS patients, introducing innovative solutions to enhance their quality of life.
The RECROSS project is conducted in collaboration between two key organizations:

The project will deliver significant outcomes aimed at improving ALS care:

A guidebook and handbook providing innovative information on ALS care.

A specialized training program for 30 healthcare professionals.

Training sessions combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on field experience.

Participants will learn the latest care techniques for ALS patients, enhancing their professional expertise.
As part of RECROSS, training programs will be organized in Turkey and Italy to improve home care services for ALS patients. The training in Turkey will focus on preparing home care assistants, while the program in Italy will introduce innovative approaches to ALS care.

Additionally, the "Real-World ALS Care Simulation" activity will allow participants to practice patient care through real-life scenarios. With continuous knowledge exchange and evaluation, the project will help develop specialized professionals in ALS care, ultimately improving the quality of life for ALS patients
